We have created this Blog to make our website more interactive. We also hope to make it easier for you to leave feedback (or constructive criticism!) on our activities, groups and services etc so that they can evolve to meet your needs. Talk & Tots
Unfortunately this weeks (12 March 2013)Talk & Tots session has been cancelled. All effort is made to contact attendees to inform them of the change. It is important for service users to keep their contact details up to date.International Families/SMILES groups
Due to staff shortages this weeks SMILES & International Families groups will be held together. There is a trip to Devonport Park planned for the Thursday 14th March session planned, so please dress appropriately.
Wellbeing Workshop
Green Ark is hosting A Wellbeing Workshop on Wednesday 13th March from 12.00pm until 4.00pm. It's an opportunity to to learn more about your family's
health and well-being.
Come along and get advice and support from the Credit
Union and the Eddystone Trust. Families will also be able
to get information and seek advice on the coming
changes to benefits.
Christmas Period
Christmas is upon us and we have a lot happening at the Centre in December. On Friday 7th December between 10.00-11.00am, come and join us singing traditonal Christmas songs along with some local schools, children can meet Boomer the donkey and refreshments will be available.Our Christmas Party filled up quickly this year and unfortunately is now full. The party is on Thursday 13th December between 11.00am-1.00pm at the Welcome Hall. Details of this and all activities at the centre can be found in the timetable section on this website.
Our programme ends after Friday 14th December and begins again on Monday 7th January. However, Play & Weigh will still run on Christmas Eve and there will be Drop-in Breastfeeding Support between 1.00-2.00pm that day. On New Years Eve there will be no groups running in the Centre, which will be open between 9.00am and 2.00pm, but Health Visitors will be available for urgent advice on child health and breastfeeding support. If you require urgent advice after 2pm on this day please phone your GP or Emergency Services.
Wild Food Walk
Friday afternoon, we have an exciting new WILD FOOD WALK!
Lead by an expert in wild fruits, flowers and plants, this is a casual walk around the local area.
Meeting at Green Ark at 1pm, all ages are welcome. There is no charge for this event so come and make the most of this rare opportunity.
